Coming soon! Surrounded! The Alamo Augmented Experience, presented by Frost, The Official Bank of the Alamo, opens to the public on Friday, September 6, 2024. History like you've never seen it! Through the use of a handheld tablet, travel through time and engage with the history of the Alamo through six experiential portals in the Long Barrack.

  • Meet early Native Americans and Spanish friars in the 18th century
  • Experience the first hospital with the Alamo Company in 1813
  • Prepare for combat the night before the Battle of the Alamo in 1836
  • Witness the first confrontation of the Civil War
  • Shop in one of the biggest general stores in Texas in 1880
  • Discover how the Long Barrack and the Alamo Church were preserved at the turn of the 20th century

This experience includes interactive characters, immersive clips, and 360-degree animations that bring the history of the Alamo to life.

Tickets are available onsite at the Alamo Welcome Center and at the Long Barrack.
