At the dawn of the Texas Revolution, elected commander of the Texian Army, Stephen F. Austin, rallied volunteers and brought them to San Antonio de Bexar with plans to reinstate the Mexican Constitution of 1824. Among these volunteers were some that would later die at the Battle of the Alamo.

Join our living historians on November 2 to experience the journey of these troops. The free, family-friendly event will include musket firing demonstrations, educational programs, and games for kids.
