Last week, the gold opaque tarp was removed from all fenced areas, and a semi-transparent wrapping went up only on panels required for safety reasons.
The open fencing and semi-transparent wrapping allow visitors and passerby to see the construction progress as the security bollards are installed around Alamo Plaza.
Additionally, the change in wrapping material allows for better air flow or even a breeze, if present, for the work crews on the inside.
