What would it have been like to be present at the Alamo during the siege leading up to the battle?

Watch history unfold as you are led through the Alamo grounds by candlelight at this special, after-hours, live theatrical event – featuring two new scenes. Step back in time to witness the actions and conversations of the Alamo defenders and residents like James Bowie, David Crockett, and Susannah Dickinson in the hours before the final, fateful attack.

Our 18th annual Evening With Heroes takes place after the Alamo is closed to the public, allowing you to experience the grounds like you never have before. A guide will lead your group through candlelit scenarios as you witness history unfold.

Tours will depart every 15 minutes, with the first tour beginning at 6:00 p.m. Each tour will last approximately 45 minutes.

Refund policy: Visitors who do not arrive for their reservation at their scheduled tour time will not receive a refund. Reservation changes must be made one business day in advance to reschedule or receive a full refund.
