Tomorrow, prepare to journey through history at the Alamo’s "Dawn at the Alamo", presented in partnership with the San Antonio Living History Association. This solemn and moving ceremony commemorates the 189th anniversary of the Battle of the Alamo—a significant milestone, as it marks one year for every known Defender who fought and fell in 1836.

As the sun begins to rise over Alamo Plaza, witness a powerful tribute to the 189 Alamo Defenders. The ceremony will feature live readings, stirring period music, a solemn wreath-laying, and a dramatic musket volley, echoing the bravery that once filled these hallowed grounds.

Hundreds will gather to honor the courage and sacrifice of those who fought for Texas' independence. Join us as we commemorate the 189 Defenders of the Alamo, standing in the very place where history was made. This event is a tribute to their sacrifice and a reminder of the enduring spirit of Texas.

Tomorrow's event is free and open to all. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of a living history experience—a tribute to the past that continues to inspire the present and future.
