The above map shows all the fenced-work areas in Alamo Plaza for the week of October 28 through November 1.
On October 7, construction efforts to eliminate the curbs in front of the Church began. This area will be graded, or sloped, to a lower elevation from the sidewalks to increase accessibility and to reduce tripping hazards as visitors walk through the area.
This project has been expedited with the intent of completing prior to Thanksgiving.
As always, the Alamo remains open to the public during normal visiting hours.
