Starting on November 20th through November 21st, a survey crew will set up survey stations in the north side of Alamo Plaza, near the Cenotaph and Houston Street, to gather information that will be used in several elements of the Alamo Plan.
One land surveyor will be present in the plaza, starting at 9 a.m., for about eight hours each day. Additionally, for aerial surveying, a scissor lift will be present on the closed street between the Long Barrack and the Cenotaph on 11/20 for about five hours, starting at 9 a.m., and should be gone by mid-afternoon.
These crews will not impact visitor access, and as always the Alamo and Alamo Plaza will remain open to visitor foot traffic. Surveying will be completed on Thursday, November 21st.
