On Saturday, Feb. 27, the 2004 version of "The Alamo" will be shown on Alamo Plaza for a very special movie night celebrating the 180th anniversary of the Siege and Battle of the Alamo. Directed by Texan John Lee Hancock and produced by Ron Howard, Brian Grazer, and Mark Johnson, "The Alamo" stars Texan Dennis Quaid as Sam Houston, Billy Bob Thornton as David Crockett, and Jason Patric as Jim Bowie.
The movie will start at 6:45 p.m. and end at approximately 9:00 p.m. Folding chairs are encouraged. This event is free to the public.
