The Alamo invites children ages 9 to 14 to make new friends,
have fun and engage themselves in the history of the Texas
Revolution and the Alamo. Learn what it was like to live
in 1830’s to 1840’s Texas.
Some activities include:
Alamo History, School of the Soldier, Period Cooking, Fire
Starting, Period Crafts, Period Games and Toys.

FREE TO PULIC
SEQ CHAPTER \h \r 1Come celebrate the Forth of July
at the Shrine of Texas Liberty and learn what it is
like to live in Texas during the 1840's. Members of
the Alamo Education Department, dressed in period clothing
and portraying citizens of the Republic of Texas, will
be setup on the lawns behind the historic Alamo church.
Activities will include a reading of the Declaration
of independence by costumed interpreters at 11:00 a.m.
and 2:00 p.m.
